SISTER COMPANIES MARCH FORTH IN 2011

SISTER COMPANIES MARCH FORTH IN 2011

Friendship, trust and moving forward for what you are most passionate about in life is what MF34 and FourTen Visuals founders have been striving for since high school, letting the world know that there still is a glimpse of hope for having fun in all aspects of life, focusing on your dreams and Marching Forth.

Carlsbad, California-- They Say “hard work pays off”. Well, who is they, and when does that backbreaking work actually pay off? For most of us living on the planet Earth, This is one of the mysterious questions we ponder over and over on a daily basis. Generally speaking, the idea of the happy destination is a time when we don’t have to work, have a ton of money and nice Cars. But is this really what life is all about? For the Owners of sister companies The March Forth and Fourten Visuals, the gold under the clay exterior has been found in life journey, a 3000 mile reunion and the “payoff of hard work”, being more than just a destination and dollar amount.

Under the grey economy, corporate monopolies and shallow views of materialism, 2 High School Friends from small town in Bel Air Maryland seem to have unknowingly stumbled upon one of the mysteries of life fueled by the idea of “Hard Work Pays off”. Since a cross country move from Bel Air, Maryland to Southern California and the start of The March Forth Company in 2003, Owner Wes Desoto has been spending his waking moments designing, planning, and breaking his back for an apparel concept of focusing on your dreams and moving forward for what you are most passionate about in life. After Countless dead ends, In 2005 after a unexpected relocation, childhood Friend Tim Kline came on board with the company to help with Sales and public relations. The original concept was to have fun, and help people in their respected journeys towards their hopes and dreams. The Sponsorship of young amateur athletes in BMX, Skate and Surf soon spawned into the creation of Team sports for the March Forth in where the idea behind helping Armature Athletes become pro seemed to take off far faster than expected. Wes and Tim started funding Action team sports out of their savings accounts and providing entry fees into tournaments and free apparel to further push the idea behind the The March Forth Company. With a Small Cannon GL, inadequate cameras, and just some creativity, they started to put together free photography and video for the young athletes to build their portfolios. In 2010 sponsored BMX rider Josh Hult unexpectedly won the Dew Tour BMX open in Chicago and shortly after, sponsored surfer Matthew Jensen became the WSA Men’s Shortboard Tour Champion. With the money won from the Dew Tour open, bmx rider Josh was able to pay off his house and car which were on the verge of foreclosure. “You don’t realize how financially tight it is for these young athletes, guess everything happens for a reason!” was the humble response from Wes when he was told about it after the Dew Tour Event.
After a Non-Profit campaign to Help Bmx rider Stephen Murray Stay Strong and March forth after a double back flip in 2008 that left the action sports star paralyzed, Wes and Tim decided to merge their expertise of Video, Photography, and graphic design into a Multi Media company with the concept of having all the visual needs for a small business in one company without outsourcing anything. “Video, Photography and Graphics is a must for most companies these days and It’s a pain, when you have to go to 50 different companies to get visual enhancements for your business. We like to keep it all In-house.” says Fourten Visuals owner Tim Kline. With the added expertise of years of doing their own logos, web design, graphics, video production and photography the Carlsbad based Creative Studio of FourTen Visuals was formed as a Sister Company to March Forth. “With all that we do, and have done over the years, we have learned how to make it easier for small businesses to succeed in their visual marketing and branding and at a reasonable price.” Says MF34 founder Wes Desoto. A simple reminder to focus on your dreams, seems to have made its way into 2011 and spawned an unrelentless amount of positive focus for the future of small businesses across Southern California. With both companies working side by side the and the unusual unlikelihood of High School Friends forming such influential businesses more than 3000 miles away from a small east coast town, seems to underscore the idea of Marching Forth Together in 2011.

Finding it hard to stay focused while having an empty pocket and struggling in the economic crisis we all have faced over the past years has been more than just a test of strength and will. It’s been a reminder that hard work does pay off, and the payoff is the journey we all get to live everyday knowing we have friends and family around to support us no matter what happens. The true payoff in life is having fun along all of our journeys. While you work hard through 2011, always Remember to focus on your dreams, move forward for what you are most passionate about in life, and against all odds……..MARCH FORTH IN 2011!
